Leif-Erik Hvide has nine years of senior management experience in strategic planning, sales, marketing, finance, and project structuring. Currently, Mr. Hvide is a Director at ARE Asset Management, an investment management firm in Miami Florida that manages offshore hedge funds for high net worth overseas investors. Prior to joining ARE, Mr. Hvide was Vice President at United Capital Markets, a licensed broker-dealer in Miami, Florida with $650 million in assets under management, where he served as senior hedge fund specialist and NASD Registered Representative for sophisticated institutional, fund of fund, and private investors.

From 2001 to 2006, Leif-Erik Hvide was a founding Partner and Senior Vice President with Ocean Development Group. There, he was responsible for strategic and financial planning, fundraising, marketing, and sales for a $750 million residential resort development project. His accomplishments at Ocean Development included: negotiating $100 million in pre-sales from initial contact to closing, preparing the project’s private placement memorandum, road show and due diligence, negotiating and closing $15 million in early and middle stage private equity investments; producing and distributing investor reports; directing the production and implementation of the Company's advertising and marketing campaign, website, and brochure; as well as lengthy legal & contractual negotiations and due diligence with strategic partners that included: Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Aker Finnyards, Tillberg Design, and Bayview Financial. Mr. Hvide remains a partner and advisor to Ocean Development Group. Leif-Erik Hvide received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Emory University in 1999.
